A guide to Triple 4 Stainless Bolt Kits

Triple 4 stainless bolt and screw kits are all made with superior marine grade 316 stainless steel.

As you will be aware, we like to supply the best. 99% of stainless steel bolt and screw kits for Land Rovers are made from low grade A2 304 stainless steel. The issue with using A2 304 stainless steel is the fact that it corrodes and tarnishes.

A2 stainless steel is highly susceptible to attack from chemicals and salt. Which is why it’s not used in marine applications. Harsh chemicals in some car cleaning products and the road salt of the typical British winter can cause A2 stainless to corroded and tarnish, leaving the steel with an unsightly tarnished rusty appearance and it can cause streaks down the paint work when it rains.

All Triple 4 kits use superior marine grade 316 stainless steel. This is highly resistant to chemicals and salt keeping your Land Rover looking perfect all year round.

For our Triple 4 rear cross member and rear door kits we do 4 different styles of bolt head.

• Traditional hex head bolts for the OEM factory look for Series 3 & Defender models up to 1998
• Torx large button head bolts for the OEM look on post 1998 Defenders
• Shallow allen cap head bolts. These are a shallower cap head than standard cap head bolt and give a very smart appearance
• Domed button allen head bolts. These have a very shallow domed head which gives a sleek finished look.
