Triple 4 superior 316 marine grade stainless steel counter sunk bolt kit to fit 3mm thick chequer plate kits from the various aftermarket manufacturers of kits for Defender models.
This is a generic kit and contains 20 bolts & 20 flange nuts. Flange nuts alleviate the need for fiddling about with a separate washer and nut.
Designed to be used with the top brands of premium 3mm chequer plate kits which are pre drilled for counter sunk bolts, such as those kits from Mammouth and Genuine Land Rover. Suitable for chequer plate bonnets, wing tops, sills and rear quarters.
As with everything do, we like to sell the best, and our stainless steel bolt kits are no exception. This kit uses 316 marine grade stainless steel fixings.
Most other kits you find on the market use lower grade A2 304 stainless steel in their kits. 304 can corrode and tarnish over time when exposed to chemicals, such as cleaning products like traffic film remover and exposure to salt.
